CloudShot is a simple program, which enables you to take screenshots of your screen. The program purpose is to simply take screenshots and store them into a folder on your local drive or into your Dropbox account where you can share those images easily. The program resides in the system tray and provides some settings by right clicking the tray icon.
The settings enables you to select where the screenshots will be stored (local drive or Dropbox account) and whether the png or jpeg image format should the screenshots be saved. You can also set the images to be copied into clipboard, which makes it very easy to paste into an image editor. You can choose either to open the image (after taking the screenshot) into the default image viewer or not.
The program provides two capturing modes: capture the screen region and capture window. Capture the screen region option enables you to select which part of the screen you want to shot. Capture window mode enables you to take a snapshot the window you want by double clicking the window. CloudShot can be set to open in the system tray every time Windows starts.
